Two major new facilities of Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) went into operation in December to enhance service levels and meet future demand. The North Satellite Concourse equipped with 10 bridge-served parking stands for narrow-bodied aircraft, enables about 98 per cent of the passengers at HKIA to embark and disembark flights in an indoor, weatherproof environment.
