Arts and cultural events are very popular in Hong Kong. A variety of homegrown and international artists stage performances throughout the year at venues ranging from intimate neighbourhood theatres to world-class concert halls. The Magic Flute , one of Mozart's most popular operas, was performed in November at the Grand Theatre, Hong Kong Cultural Centre, and was co-produced by the National Centre for the Performing Arts, Den Norske Opera and Ballet and Opera Hong Kong.
