Ceremonies celebrating the HKSAR's 5th Anniversary begin with a flag-raising ceremony at the Golden Bauhinia Square. Afterwards, President Jiang Zemin presides at an inauguration ceremony in which Mr Tung Chee Hwa is sworn in as the second term Chief Executive of the HKSAR, and Principal Officials of the Government also take their oath. Mr Tung then swears in members of the Executive Council.
